One reason we wanted to travel full-time with our kids was to take in as many sites as we could around the United States. As we have been traveling, we are finding ways to see these sites cheaper than most and sometimes even for free! While scouring the internet for more free options, I came across the National Park Service site and found a superb deal!
If you have a fourth grader, you can get a FREE ANNUAL PASS good from September – August. This is also available to homeschoolers who are the age of 10. How do you get one? It’s simple. Fill out the form on the Every Kid in a Park site and exchange it for the Annual 4th Grade Pass at any federal recreation site that charges an entrance or usage fee.
Don’t have a 4th grader? Family passes are just $80, which can be used as per vehicle passes at federal recreation sites that charge an entrance fee. Are you a grandparent homeschooling your grandchild? You can get a Senior Annual Pass for just $20 or a Lifetime Pass for $80!
