My kids absolutely love Shark Week. They think its the greatest thing since sliced bread. They love that we count it as science for the week, because I let them watch the educational shows. They love learning more about sharks as animals and predators. They love watching the silly movies, like Sharknado. We have a good time during shark week.
While I allow them to count the educational shows as their science for the week, they still have other subjects to complete. So we just create a fun week-long unit study on sharks to make the most of it. Here are some great resources I’ve found to use. I hope you enjoy!
